C2E Schools Project
The purpose of the Campaign 2 Educate (C2E) Schools Project is to send the 'Once an Addict' Classroom Resources to every Secondary School in the UK and to educate 100,000's of students about the dangers of drugs through Barry’s real life experiences. The 'Once an Addict' Classroom Resources consists of the 1 ½ hour ‘Once an Addict’ DVD, and a 74 page workbook that contains seven ready made Religious Studies lessons.
The latest UK Census 2001 shows that there are 3,880,557 young people in the UK between the ages of 10 to 14 years and 3,663,782 between the ages of 15 to 19 years. Our aim is to impact a large proportion of these young people who fall within the age range of 13 to 16 years old.
The C2E Schools Project is being rolled out in two phases. The first is focused on the 187 schools in Greater Manchester and the second phase will involve rolling it out in the remaining 4800 plus schools throughout the UK.
